Vertical felt lanes creating beautiful wall coverings that add soft volume to any space

Created when the Design Museum approached Studio Lawrence designers Bart Eijking and Patrick de Louwere to develop an aesthetic solution to their acoustic problem, Along These Lines is a system of vertical felt lanes suspended on a steel rail, creating beautiful wall coverings that add soft volume to any space. 

The 2mm thick 100% wool felt is sourced from Germany’s leading supplier, reinforcing Studio Lawrence’s belief in using only the highest quality European materials and manufacturing. Available in nine colours, the lanes run parallel and with the easy-to-manage hanging system. The composition of the wall hanging can be regularly arranged and rearranged to create a constantly changing piece.

With the use of a double-sided rail, Along These Lines can also be positioned to form a soft partition wall to divide living spaces within the home, to separate workplaces or to fence in a meeting-room table.
